What Is the SMSTS Refresher Course?
The Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) Refresher is a two-day CITB-approved course aimed at site managers, supervisors, and those responsible for construction health and safety. It updates your knowledge of the latest legislation, HSE guidance, and best practices for managing safety on-site.
Your SMSTS certificate is valid for five years, and you must complete the refresher before it expires. Missing the deadline means retaking the full five-day SMSTS course, so it’s crucial to renew on time.
