What Is the SSSTS Course?
The SSSTS is designed for first-line managers, team leaders, and supervisors who need to understand their responsibilities regarding health, safety, welfare, and environmental issues on construction sites. It is a two-day course, officially approved by CITB, and recognised throughout the UK construction industry.
Can You Really Take the SSSTS Course Online?
Yes, the SSSTS course can be completed entirely online through live instructor-led sessions delivered via Zoom. The online version is identical in content, structure, and assessment to the in-person course.
You will still receive:
- CITB-approved certification

- Group discussions, case studies, and practical examples
- A multiple-choice test at the end of the course
When you pass, you receive the same CITB SSSTS certificate as classroom learners.

Is the Online SSSTS Course Accepted by Employers and CITB?
