CITB SSSTS Courses: Essential Site Supervisor Training with Target Zero

Become a Certified Site Supervisor with CITB SSSTS

If you're supervising teams on a construction site, the CITB Site Supervisors’ Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) is a must-have qualification. It ensures you understand and can manage health and safety responsibilities in line with current UK legislation.

At Target Zero Training, we offer both the full 2-day SSSTS course and the 1-day SSSTS Refresher, available nationwide and online. Whether you're stepping into a supervisory role or renewing an existing qualification, we’ve got a course that fits your needs.

What Is the Full 2-Day CITB SSSTS Course?

The full SSSTS course is ideal for:

• Site supervisors
• Team leaders
• Foremen
• Junior managers
• Workers moving into supervisory roles

Over two days, learners gain essential knowledge on site-specific health and safety, legal responsibilities, CDM regulations, toolbox talks, risk assessments, and how to supervise safely and effectively.

You'll receive a CITB-accredited SSSTS certificate, valid for five years, upon successfully completing a multiple-choice exam. The course can be taken in person or live online via Zoom, making it flexible for learners across the UK.

• Recent changes to UK legislation and HSE guidance
• Industry best practices in supervision and safety
