As a leading provider of EUSR courses, we know just how much of a difference they can make in these three industries. Here's everything you need to know about why it is important to become EUSR qualified, and what you can expect when you train with us.

What is EUSR?

EUSR is short for the Energy & Utility Skills Register, and it is a national register of training and skills for the energy and utilities industries. To put it simply, it is an online database where those who have completed all of the relevant training can then have their qualifications recorded. The register is then used by employers to check that potential employees have the skills and qualifications they need for a role.

EUSR training covers a wide range of topics, and here at Target Zero Training, we provide a wide range of courses. When you choose us, you can take your pick from the following:

Holding an EUSR card is often a mandatory requirement for working on water, gas, and power sites, so not completing the relevant course could be a serious setback to your career. When you choose us, you can be sure that you will receive accredited, up-to-date training.

Here are some more benefits of completing an EUSR course with us:

Compliance with Safety Regulations

One of the main reasons for completing EUSR training is compliance with all regulations. An employer with an EUSR-trained team will meet the legal and industry standards applying to their operations. It also shows that they are committed to maintaining a safe working environment, which will reassure everyone else, from clients to stakeholders. By choosing us, you can enjoy total peace of mind - whether you are arranging training for yourself or on behalf of one of your team members.

Prioritising Safety

In sectors like water, gas, and electricity, risks can be high. Workers are often operating in challenging environments, and it is in these situations that having the right safety training becomes vital. EUSR courses account for this and equip attendees with the practical knowledge and skills they need to make the right decisions on site, helping them to reduce risks wherever possible. When delivered by an expert provider like us, you can be extra sure that you are picking up those essential skills.

Career Progression

Having the right qualifications to your name can help you to progress in your career. The water, gas, and power sectors are more competitive than ever, with a huge range of talented individuals making their mark. So, by gaining your EUSR qualification from a trusted provider, you can stand out in a crowded field! This makes applying for the roles you want so much easier, boosting your chances of success.
