What is the SSSTS refresher online course?

The Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) refresher is a CITB approved one–day course. It is designed for supervisors who already hold an SSSTS certificate that is about to expire. Completing the refresher ensures your qualification stays valid for another five years.

How long does it take to complete?

The refresher is delivered in one day. When taken online it follows the same format as classroom training:

• Live tutor-led sessions
• Group discussions and activities
• Final assessment at the end of the day

At the end of the course you receive the same CITB certificate as classroom learners.

Why choose the online option?

Supervisors often prefer the online refresher because it is:

• Convenient – no travel required
• Flexible – study from home or site office
• Accredited – fully CITB approved with the same recognition

Who needs the SSSTS refresher?

If you are a site supervisor and your current SSSTS certificate is nearing expiry, you must take the refresher to stay compliant. Without it, your qualification will lapse and you may not be able to continue in your supervisory role.
