If you’re looking to advance your career in construction site management, one of the most important steps is completing your SMSTS training. But before booking, a common question arises — how much does the SMSTS course cost?
Let’s explore what affects the cost of the SMSTS course, what’s included, and how to find the best value.
What Is the SMSTS Course?
The Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) is a CITB-accredited programme designed for professionals responsible for planning, organising, and managing construction site operations. It runs over five days and covers legal responsibilities, risk assessment, method statements, CDM regulations, and more.
It’s ideal for:
- Site Managers and Supervisors
- Construction Project Leads
- Anyone aiming to progress into management roles within construction
What Determines the SMSTS Course Cost?
The SMSTS course cost can vary depending on several factors:
- Location – Courses in city centres or high-demand areas may be priced differently.
- Delivery Method – You may choose between online training or classroom-based sessions.
- Included Extras – Some providers charge separately for materials or certification; others include them in the fee.
