In today’s fast-paced construction industry, finding time for training can be tough especially when your site deadlines don’t stop. That’s where the SMSTS Refresher Course Online comes in. It’s designed for busy site managers who need to renew their CITB SMSTS certification without the hassle of travel or time off-site.
Why Choose the Online SMSTS Refresher?
Whether you're overseeing a housing development, commercial build, or civils project, taking time away can disrupt progress and cost money. Our SMSTS Refresher Course Online delivers all the vital knowledge and qualification renewal without pulling you off the job.
Key benefits of learning online:
- Attend from anywhere – Site office, home, or wherever works for you
- Live tutor-led training – Interactive sessions with experienced instructors
- CITB Approved – Fully recognised by major contractors and industry bodies
- Same certificate, more flexibility – No compromise on quality or standards
- No travel, no time lost – Keep your projects on track while staying compliant
Who Is the Course For?
If you’ve previously completed the full 5-day SMSTS course and your certificate is about to expire, the SMSTS Refresher is essential. CITB requires all site managers to refresh their certification every five years to ensure safety standards stay high.
If your certificate has expired, you’ll need to retake the full course so don’t delay your refresher.
What Will You Learn?
This 2-day online course covers:
- Latest changes in health & safety legislation
- Effective risk assessments and method statements
- Environmental awareness and CDM Regulations
- Working at height, PPE, scaffolding, and more
- Managing contractors and site responsibilities
You’ll leave fully updated and ready to keep your site safe and compliant.
Why Target Zero?
At Target Zero Training, we deliver hundreds of SMSTS Refresher courses each year, with consistently high pass rates and outstanding feedback. We’ve made the online experience just as engaging and effective as in person with the added convenience modern site managers need.
Our course is delivered live via Zoom in a virtual classroom environment. You can ask questions, interact with other delegates, and get real-time support from your tutor throughout the course.
