Construction does not slow down for anyone. Projects move fast. Deadlines loom. But when it comes to legal responsibilities and health and safety, there is no room for shortcuts. That is where the SSSTS Course Online comes in.
Designed for working professionals, this course allows you to gain your full CITB Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme certification without stepping away from your role. Whether you are a busy supervisor, a newly promoted team leader, or preparing for your next step in construction management, this course gives you everything you need to lead safely on your terms.
What Is the SSSTS Course Online?
The SSSTS course is a two day programme approved by CITB, specifically created for site supervisors in construction and civil engineering. It covers:
- Health and safety law and your responsibilities as a supervisor
- How to carry out effective site inductions and toolbox talks
- Risk assessments and method statements
- Understanding high risk activities such as working at height, demolition, and manual handling
- How to monitor your team’s safety performance
The online version delivers the same high standard of training as the classroom course, using live tutor-led sessions, interactive tasks, and real-time assessments.
Why Choose an SSSTS Course Online?
1. Train Without Leaving Site
Instead of losing valuable time and resources travelling to training venues, you or your team can take the course from anywhere with a stable internet connection.
2. Meet Legal Requirements Remotely
UK law requires that anyone in a supervisory role is trained to a recognised standard. This course fulfils that requirement without interrupting your workflow.
3. Flexible and Cost Effective
With no travel or accommodation costs, online training offers better value for money. It is ideal for individual learners or companies training multiple supervisors at once.
4. Same Certificate, Same Recognition
The online SSSTS course is fully accredited by CITB. Once completed, you will receive exactly the same certificate as those who attend in person.
Who Should Take the SSSTS Course Online?
This course is designed for:
- Site Supervisors
- Forepersons and team leaders
- Subcontractors in supervisory roles
